What We Do

Individual Counselling / Coaching

Our individual counselling / coaching sessions provide a safe, supportive space for you to explore personal challenges, emotions, and life changes at your own pace. We work with individuals with physical, sensory, intellectual, and neurodevelopmental disabilities to address issues such as stress, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, and adjustment to disability. Each session is tailored to your communication style and personal goals, helping you build coping skills, confidence, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.

Couples Counselling

Our couples counselling sessions provide a supportive space for partners to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. We work with couples where one, both, or no partners have a disability, recognising that unique experiences and needs can shape how people connect and support each other. Using evidence-based approaches, our therapists help couples deepen understanding, resolve conflict, and build resilience—fostering a relationship grounded in empathy, respect, and shared growth.

Birkman Method Coaching

Our Birkman Method coaching sessions use a research-based personality and behavioural assessment to help you gain deep insight into your strengths, motivations, and potential challenges. Designed for individuals, couples, and families living with or without a disability, our sessions support personal growth, career development, mutual understanding, and effective communication. By understanding your, your partner’s, and/or your family member’s unique patterns and needs, we help you navigate differences, make informed decisions, set achievable goals, and build strategies that enhance individual and relational well-being.

Psycho-Education Programmes

Building Understanding, Empowering Growth

At CAPE, we believe that knowledge is a cornerstone of wellbeing. Our psycho-education programmes are designed to help individuals, families, and professionals understand psychological and educational concepts, as well as mental health, through clear, practical, and evidence-based learning.

We offer accessible and inclusive workshops, small-group sessions, and customised training that equip and empower participants to think and reflect deeply, problem-solve creatively, recognise emotional patterns, develop coping strategies, and/or support the mental health needs of people with diverse abilities.

Our programmes cover a wide range of topics – from emotion regulation, stress management, and communication skills to neurodiversity awareness, inclusive relationships, behaviour management, and caregiver well-being. We are able to cover topics and cater to target audiences across the lifespan including early childhood and adolescence.

Whether you are a parent, teacher, support worker, or an individual seeking to understand your own mental health better, our psycho-education initiatives provide the tools and confidence to foster resilience, empathy, and connection.

At CAPE, we see education not just as information—but as a pathway to empowerment and inclusion.
